Loyola Senior High School Strategic Plan

As a Catholic System School, every four years Loyola Senior High School develops a broad plan to improve the integration of ICT into the learning outcomes for all students. Our current School Strategic Plan focuses on the following goals and strategies (2014-2018):

Goal 1:

Continuing to improve student academic achievement through the use of ICT in our senior secondary school, providing ongoing access to all participants.

Goal 2:

The LSHS community will ensure that teachers, staff and administrators are involved in the use of the school's ICT and that they are proficient in its use and supportive of its integration, through professional development activities and growing familiarity with curriculum applications.

Goal 3:

To ensure that Loyola SHS TTC has the capacity, infrastructure, staffing and equipment to meet academic and business needs for effective and efficient ongoing operations in regard to ICT within our school.

Goal 4:

To ensure that LSHS will be positively involved in collaboration and partnerships supportive of ICT use and cross-curricular integration.

Goal 5:

To ensure that ICT access is available to all students through the BYO iPad and BYOD programmes so that regardless of race, ethnicity, income, geographical location, or disability, students can become technologically literate by the end of their secondary education and thus achieve their academic potential.

Goal 6:

To develop a continuous process of evaluation and accountability for the use of educational ICT as: a teaching/learning tool, a measurement and analysis tool for student achievement, and a financial management tool.

Goal 7:

To work with an ongoing schema of current and future financing requirements in support of the Loyola SHS TTC ICT Strategic Plan.
